Foundation of the Chart. $35.
Sun + Moon + Rising: this is the foundational reading where I will interpret the planetary house/sign placement for the Sun + Moon as well as the sign present at the Ascendant at the time of your birth.
Sun: Your Ego; the voice that you talk to when you talk to you. The house/sign placement give us insight in to the main motivations, beliefs, and biases that are inherent in us as we pursue our destiny in this lifetime as well as what arena of life will captivate the majority of our attention and shape us with the most emphasis.
Moon: Your Feels. The Moon doesn’t really care if the Ego’s agenda is “on course.” It’s only concern is how the journey feels along the way. The house/sign placement of the moon gives us insight in to the arena of life that might hold the greatest potential for nourishing our emotional well-being as well as what strategies and activities might hold fruitful in the pursuit of our particular brand of happiness.
Ascendant/Rising Sign: Your Persona. The motivations and strategies of the sign at the Ascendant help us create our personal brand; they color the most outward expressed facets of our personality. Identifying and Understanding our Ascendant helps us to present ourselves to the world in a confident and cohesive manner.
Major Aspect: I’ll also include the major aspect (read: relationship) between the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and any other planetary body that yells out to me most strikingly in your chart.
Add- On Interpretations. $10 each.
Part of Fortune: An Arabic calculation that takes in to account the Sun, Moon, and Rising signs and pin-points the one degree out of the 360 in the chart, by house and sign, that may unfold highly fortuitous for you should you cultivate that area with intentional energy and attention.
Ruling Planet + Rising Planet: The Ruling Planet is the planet that rules the sign on the Ascendant. The Rising Planet is the planet closest to the Ascendant in either the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and sometimes 12th house. Both of these interpretations give further insight in to the aspects of you that may play the largest role in crafting the persona with which you greet the world and pursue what drives you.
The Remaining Angles: The Descendant (telling of how you approach relationships). The Midheaven (telling of how you approach your work in the world). The Nadir (telling of how you approach your alone time and recharging).
Mercury: Your urge to communicate. Mercury’s placement by sign and by house gives insight in to how we perceive- how we take in information and how we disseminate information; thinking/communication style; what topics/arena of life may be most interesting and mentally stimulating to you.
Venus + Mars: Your urge to be harmoniously in relationship + Your urge to fearlessly take the world on solo. The Yin and Yang of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. Placement of Venus by house and sign offers insight in to what motivates us in creating beautiful relationships with people, places, and things. Placement of Mars by house and sign offers insight in to what motivates us to cultivate courage and willpower to go after what we want as an individual regardless of our partnerships.
Jupiter + Saturn: Your urge to expand + Your urge to contract. Jupiter’s placement by sign and house give insight in to where expansion, optimism, and good fortune abound; where we are seeking inspiration and higher-knowing with a glass-half-full, curious attitude. Saturn’s placement by sign and house give insight in to where structure, limitation, and discipline can often impart a glass-half-empty, challenging perspective. Saturn’s ultimate concern, however, is how you muster the grit and determination to achieve success in the face of those challenges - ultimately, finding freedom, choice, and possibility within the structure of society and the structure you’re choosing for your life.
Uranus + Neptune: Your urge to uniquely individuate + Your urge to dissolve into the union of “sameness” with all there is. Uranus’ placement by sign and house give insight in to where you most fiercely yearn to stand out from the crowd and go your own way; where your unique vision and genius longs to abruptly say “f*ck this rat race. f*ck these generalized standards and expectations and structures (Uranus sorta gives the middle finger to Saturn just a tad)- I’m gonna do it this way and it’s gonna be so much better than you could have imagined.” Neptune’s placement by sign and house give insight in to where you know w’re all a part of the same thing; that place in you that’s empathic and intuitive and supremely sensitive and artistic. The imaginative dream-world is Neptune’s preferred place when the emotional pains of this world are too much to bear.
Pluto: Your urge to transform. Pluto’s placement by sign and house give insight in to where you grasp your mortality and potential to live this life as the actual blink of an eye that it is and do nothing that you truly want, make no connections of real potency, and die without really living. Pluto RALES against these possibilities and urges us to scrap any version of ourselves and or lives that isn’t continually pushing us to go deeper, to explore our shadow, to make friends with our fear and learn from it - learn from it and course correct accordingly - so that in the instant before you take your last breath you may feel that the life you lived and the legacy you left was significant.
Chiron: Your urge to heal.
Lilith: Your urge to Smash the Patriarchy.
