I’m an Acupuncturist and Holistic Nutritionist based in Richmond, Virginia — and it’s my heart-felt mission to provide access to the wisdom and techniques of Classical Chinese Medicine as a sage remedy for our fast-paced lives, and to provide a complementary balance to western healthcare.

From complex autoimmune, digestive disorders, and food sensitivities to stubborn hormonal imbalances and menstrual irregularities. From fatigue and chronic pain to managing anxiety/depression. From combatting the effects of stress to building resilience in the face of it...

As a practitioner, it’s my goal to facilitate an environment that encourages integrative care. One that utilizes the intuitive and relatable art of Classical Chinese Medicine. Its incredible insights + effective strategies work in concert to support a well-balanced, cyclically resonant, resilient, and ever-evolving you.

MY EDUCATION + JOURNEY

After five years of pre-medical undergraduate studies in my home state of Florida, and continuing to struggle with a growing list of seemingly unrelated health issues, I decided I wanted to be involved with healthcare in a way that took a holistic approach. So, I packed my bags and moved to Portland, Oregon to explore the city's rich natural and alternative medicine presence.

After another five years of study, I earned my Master of Acupuncture degree from the National University of Natural Medicine — while concurrently completing my certification as a Holistic Nutritionist from the Wellspring School of Healing Arts.

Both by receiving holistic care and learning to provide it to others, the connections and cause/effect relationships between my hormonal and digestive symptoms naturally began to reveal themselves. Through a combination of acupuncture, naturopathy, changes to my diet + exercise routine, and some (majorly needed) stress management techniques I was able to hit the “reset” button and discover a new baseline of balance: physically, mentally, and emotionally. Two things happened during this time: I realized the brilliance and necessity of an integrative, multi-faceted approach in healthcare + I fell in love with Chinese Medicine.

In my practice I incorporate gentle needling with combinations of body work, tuning fork vibrational therapy, moxibustion, aromatherapy, and glass fire cupping + nutrition and supplementation therapy depending on your needs.
